Archery Courses
The club is currently offering regular Archery courses including 2 hour taster sessions and 10 hour beginner courses, we cater for participants with any level of previous archery experience and we cater for both adults and juniors (juniors must be over 10 yrs).
Beginner Courses (10 hour duration, cost £125.00)
We offer full beginner courses for those interested in joining our club (or any other Archery GB affiliated club). When scheduled, the course sessions typically run on Saturday afternoons from 14:00-16:30 over 4 sessions. Each session is run by a fully qualified Archery GB coach who is assisted by a number of experienced archers within the club.
The course costs a total cost of £125.00 which is payable on booking a place. All equipment is supplied and some light refreshments are provided, the full 10 hours of each course must be completed in order to pass the course successfully. Completing the course successfully means you must be judged safe to shoot and as such we cannot guarantee that everybody taking the course will successfully complete it (although most people do!).
On successful completion of the course you are awarded an Archery GB recognised certificate and given the opportunity to join the club if you so wish. By completing a course with us and then joining the club you will be entitled to use our equipment for your first 5 new member sessions free of charge, we encourage all participants to make use of this facility before purchasing their own equipment.

Following your new member sessions you will be able to use the club during our organised hours (typically weekday evenings, Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday).
The cost of full adult membership for new members is £196 per year (this includes affiliations to Archery GB, Middlesex County Archery Association and Southern Counties Archery Society). For those joining part way through a membership year (September-September) club fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis. Junior membership for new members is £69.00.

Archery Equipment
To help ease you into the sport and enable you to get shooting as soon as possible, we now provide all equipment necessary during these 5 sessions, including bows, arrows and safety equipment, providing you have completed a beginners course with us.
Please don’t go out and buy a bow before the course, or even during the course, as everything is provided. You will be better placed to know what you need if you want to continue archery after the course.
